n Penghu, Taiwan, there’s a homestay which was constructed for 6 years. With no window on the external walls, it looks like a big rock and becomes the most mysterious building in the area. Penghu boasts beautiful sea and beaches. The life is natural and simple there. Inside the homestay, there’re lots of surprises. The curves on the walls are designed based on the electroencephalogram of the owner. On the ceiling there’s a hole which allows guests to touch rain in rainy days. You can see barely any furniture in the space. ‘The house is only 1 year old when its construction is finished, and it will turn 2, 3 and 4. It will slowly grow up and I will be by its side,’ said Liu Shufen, the owner of the homestay.
